The highway transport ministry has come out with draft guidelines which say that the tyres of automobiles, buses and vehicles ought to meet the requirement of rolling resistance, moist grip and rolling sound emissions – a transfer geared toward guaranteeing high quality and reliability of tyres. The ministry has proposed this regime for brand new mannequin tyres from 1 October, 2021 and for the prevailing fashions from 1 October, 2022. “MoRT&H has issued a draft notification proposing that the tyres of automobiles, buses & vehicles shall meet the necessities of rolling resistance, moist grip & rolling sound emissions, as laid out in Stage-II of the Automotive Business Requirements (AIS) 142:2019, amended once in a while,” it stated in a collection of tweets.
